Reviewed by Quita Paul We all know that Gundam Wing has captured the hearts of all us anime fans. A number one hit TV series and manga, Gundam Wing proves to be a grand hit in America. For those who are new to Gundam Wing, it is about five heroes: Heero, Quarte, Wu Fei, Duo, and Trowa that come to together to save Earth from being destroyed by the evils of the space colonies and other groups who want to have control of Earth and military power. All five heroes have their own gundam - a robot that has powerful weapons and is made from "gundamium", a powerful indestructible material. Gundam Wing: Episode Zero concerns the events that happened before "Operation Meteor" and before war broke out. There are five sections to the manga, each explaining the gundam pilots when they were young, and what made them who they are in the Gundam Wing TV series. What I really like about it is that if you are a Gundam Wing fan like I am, it shows things that you might not even know about them and it helps you better understand why the Gundam Wing TV series is and the events that occur. Overall, the illustration is very well done - very detailed and you never want to put it down. For anyone who likes Gundam, I recommend that you buy this now. Interested in writing for MangaLife?
